Here at Blue Heart Rabbitry we specialize in improving the lionhead breed. More specifically blue eyed white lionheads. Blue eyed white lionheads captured my heart three years ago with there adorable yet beautiful appearance.
Soon after these bunnies captured my heart I got my first lionhead doe. She wasn't a BEW because they where so rare that when I went to buy BEW there was a 3 month waiting. But this little lionhead named stormy took me into the wonderful world of bunnies and here I am today.
Blue Heart Rabbitry's modoe is quality not quantity. We understand there are allot of amazing bunnies that are in need of good homes and we are not here to add onto this number. Our goal if to improve blue eyed white lionheads and the lionhead breed as a whole.
We would like to diversify the bloodlines in witch blue eyed white lionhead come. Blue eyed white lionheads (for the most part) have vary smilier family trees. When you have such a concentrated bloodline the genes of each rabbit are smilier witch leads to allot of the same characteristic both good and bad. By introducing new blood lines to our herd we believe we will be able to acquire more desirable confirmation and over all improve the quality of our rabbits.
